1. Platform Role

Yubizzle is a digital peer-to-peer marketplace platform that acts solely as a facilitator and intermediary, enabling university students in the Ghent region to connect and exchange goods and services. Yubizzle is not a shop, retailer, or trading company. We do not own, inspect, store, ship, or guarantee any items listed on the platform. We are not a party to any transaction between users.

2. No Verification of Listings or Users

While we verify that users hold a valid university email address, we do not verify the identity, age, or background of individual users beyond this. We do not inspect, test, or verify the condition, accuracy, completeness, legality, or safety of any listing or item. All listings are posted by users at their own discretion and responsibility.

3. User Responsibility

All transactions and communications are conducted directly and solely between users. Users are entirely responsible for:

• Verifying the condition, legality, and safety of items before purchase
• Arranging safe meetups, preferably in public locations on or near campus
• Conducting due diligence before completing any transaction
• Compliance with applicable laws regarding the purchase or sale of items

We strongly advise users never to send money in advance and to meet in person before completing any transaction.

4. No Financial Involvement

Yubizzle does not process, hold, or facilitate any payments between users. We are not a payment service provider and do not offer buyer or seller protection. Any payment disputes are strictly between the users involved. We accept no liability for payment fraud, non-delivery, or financial loss arising from transactions.

5. No Guarantees or Warranties

We make no representations, guarantees, or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding:

• The legality, quality, safety, accuracy, or availability of any listing
• The reliability, honesty, or conduct of any user
• The outcome of any transaction conducted through the platform
• The uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App

Use of Yubizzle and any transactions arising from it are entirely at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Belgian and EU law, Mohamad Salam (operator of Yubizzle) disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, damage, or harm arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App
• Any transaction, communication, or interaction with another user
• Reliance on any listing, content, or information on the platform
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Belgian law.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may reference or interact with third-party services (such as image hosting or email providers). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of any third-party service. Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

8. Content Moderation

We use automated and manual moderation to remove prohibited content. However, we do not guarantee that all harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content will be detected and removed promptly. Users are encouraged to report suspicious listings or users via the reporting feature in the App.

9. Governing Law

This Disclaimer is governed by Belgian law. Any disputes arising from this Disclaimer shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ghent, Belgium.

10. Operator Status

Yubizzle is operated by a private individual and is not a registered company, legal entity, or commercial enterprise. Users acknowledge this when using the platform. The operator assumes no corporate obligations beyond those imposed on private individuals under applicable Belgian and EU law.
