Welcome to Yubizzle, a digital peer-to-peer marketplace platform developed and operated by Mohamad Salam, designed exclusively for university and college students in the Ghent region of Belgium. By downloading, accessing, or using the Yubizzle mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.
Yubizzle is operated by a private individual and is not a registered company, legal entity, or commercial enterprise. The operator is:

Registration and use of Yubizzle are restricted to current students of the following recognised Belgian institutions:
You must register with a valid university or college email address from one of the institutions listed above. We reserve the right to verify eligibility and suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and keep your account information updated at all times. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at yubizzle@outlook.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
Upon registration, you will receive a verification email to your university address. You must verify your email before you can log in and use the App. Unverified accounts will not have access to the platform's features.
You may only post listings for lawful items or services. All listings are subject to review before becoming publicly visible. We reserve the right to remove, reject, or modify any listing or content at our sole discretion without notice.
The following are strictly prohibited on Yubizzle:
You agree to use the App lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
Messaging features are provided solely for legitimate communication between users regarding listings. You must not use messaging to spam, harass, solicit, or contact users for purposes unrelated to a listing. All messages are subject to monitoring for safety and moderation purposes.
Yubizzle acts solely as a facilitator and intermediary, providing a platform for users to connect and communicate. We are not a party to any transaction between users and do not guarantee the quality, legality, safety, or availability of any listed items or services, nor the conduct of any user.
All transactions are conducted directly between users. Yubizzle does not process payments, handle delivery, escrow funds, or provide any guarantees regarding transactions. Users are solely responsible for arranging safe meetups, verifying item condition, and completing transactions. We strongly recommend meeting in public, well-lit locations on or near campus.
We do not verify the accuracy, completeness, or legality of listings or the quality, condition, or availability of items. Users transact entirely at their own risk. Yubizzle accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from a transaction conducted through the platform.
Yubizzle uses automated content moderation to detect prohibited content. Listings containing prohibited keywords or content may be automatically rejected. Users may appeal moderation decisions by contacting yubizzle@outlook.com.
Users may report listings or other users that they believe violate these Terms. We will review reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing listings, issuing warnings, or suspending accounts. We do not guarantee a specific response time or outcome for reports.
All intellectual property rights in the App and its original content (excluding user-generated content) belong to Mohamad Salam or respective licensors. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App. You retain ownership of your content.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, applicable law, or university policies, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting yubizzle@outlook.com.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Belgian and EU law, we disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss, damage, or harm arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to transactions, user conduct, content, or service interruptions. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium and applicable European Union regulations. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ghent, Belgium.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notification in the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
